Prime Minister Han Seung-soo and all the Cabinet members offered to resign en masse to President Lee Myung-bak this morning.

After the Cabinet meeting this morning, Prime Minister Han conveyed the Cabinet members’ decision to President Lee at a regular weekly meeting.

With regard to the candlelight vigil scheduled today, President Lee stressed, “The top priority should be placed on public safety. The authorities concerned have to take all possible measures to make sure that not a single person is hurt.”
