World Friends Korea, a Korean volunteer program set up to promote peace and friendship worldwide, especially in underdeveloped and developing countries, was launched on May 12, 2010.
The President gave a congratulatory address at the opening ceremony and emphasized that this group will play a crucial role in enhancing Korea’s global image. Moreover, goodwill activities carried out by World Friends Korea will make Korea a more responsible member of the international community.
