This is the first time that Cheong Wa Dae has held a real-time online briefing using their Twitter account.

Recently, the President ordered his aides to look for measures to expand channels of communication, in order to boost citizen understanding of national policy.

Those who used Cheong Wa Dae’s online real-time briefing system welcomed the service by saying that it helped them understand government policies better, and that they hoped such services can be expanded in the near future.

Meanwhile, Cheong Wa Dae plans to review ways to expand the real-time online briefing service to key functions if responses continue to be favorable. To visit Cheong Wa Dae''s Twitter account, click here.
